Possessed or Replaced? The Lead's Two-Roommate Face
The scariest thing in the film isn't the ghost—it's the lead grinning at herself.

Watching the film, you start to feel like the lead's face is a two-bedroom apartment with very different roommates. One takes the wheel with a frozen stare; the other leans in from the back seat, smirking, tapping the horn whenever the script lets her.
Her brow becomes the whole battlefield. A flicker of muscle, a half-second flinch, and you've just watched one of them shove the other back into a corner.
The director never settles the debate, and frankly, he doesn't need to. The real trick is the smile she gives the camera right before a cut—a grin so off-key you can't tell whether it's the host or the squatter flashing it.
