An admission notice from a university recently turned into a small puzzle for the internet. Where 身份证 — "ID card" — should have been printed, the characters read 身证份: three correct characters, all shuffled into the wrong order.
The slip looks harmless on paper, but picture the freshman walking up to registration, notice in hand, and getting asked the same question at every counter. Enrollment still goes through; the "welcome" just stumbles on its very first line.
